Build Your Law Firms Profile on LinkedIn

LinkedIn through networking, questions and answers, and application features is a powerful tool for maintain and establishing relationships in the big business world. It aids your business in many other ways as well. It is a valuable way to attract talent to your company if you use all the options out there for you.

Here's how to post a job to LinkedIn. It is very similar to how you post any other job to a website. It calls for details about the position, skills and requirements, but it is something available to you, so might as well take advantage of it.

1. To get started, go to the Companies menu on your LinkedIn account. From there, select “ Add Company".

2.Enter the basic information about your company. It will ask for its description, number of employers, and other questions.

3. Follow LinkedIn’s wizard for creating your profile. This lets you add a logo, locations, and feed for your company blog.

Three general easy steps, and you have completed LinkedIn’s steps for getting setup. Once you have competed the steps, your company profile will be available. Seems like any other website? This is when things start to get a litter more interesting.

In addition to the general information you posted at start up, the site pulls together data about your company from around the site such as: job listings, profiles of current employees, former employees, new hires, and recent promotions. In addition, LinkedIn does an analysis of your company and the connection that your employees have on the network. This means that the site calculates your company’s median ages, top schools, and other companies that they are well connected to. This information and data about your company gives potential candidates a lot of information to dive into and see if it will be a good fit for them.

So in the end all you need to do is start the process off by the quick three steps, and just leave the rest of the data collecting to LinkedIn. LinkedIn Answers is a great tool to use to clear up any questions you might have about the site.
