What's Your Law Firms Number: Facebook Rankings

If you are using Facebook as a tool to expand and reach out to current, former and potential clients, you are on the right track.  However, in order to know if your social media marketing is truly helping you, there are ways to measure it. This is also a good thing to do to track your progress, along with figure out  what you should change to increase your number.

1. Number of Facebook fans

Did you think popularity contests left you when you entered the “real world”? You might want to rethink that idea, because it continues. The more Facebook fans, or likes the more “popular” you are, which leads to a successful business. This is an obvious measurement; someone fans your page, that means they have opted-in to receiving your messages and posts about your business. This can mean that people are finding your page, people find the content valuable, and others might be sharing the content. We are all familiar with this process. No fans or fan growth= bad.

The next measurements can be found by logging into your business Facebook page. You will be able to find them by clicking “View Insights”.

2. Number of Facebook Wall posts

Count the wall posts done by fans. It is the best indicator of engagement, and avoids counting all your postings.

3. Interactions on your Facebook page

Count the number of total comments, wall posts, and likes. The more you have the more your business is spreading, expanding and benefiting.

4.Interactions Per Post on your Facebook page

Add up the average number of comments, wall posts, and likes generated by each piece of content you post.

5. Post quality on your Facebook page

Higher quality content will be more engaging, and more people will have viewed, commented or liked it.

6. Page views on your Facebook page

It is simple math, and straight forward. The more the merrier!

7. Reviews on your Facebook page

Consider the following: What’s your ranking? How many times have you been ranked?
