Twitter Trends Now: Twitter Trending Maps for Attorneys

Twitter trends began as a way to shed light on popular conversations. It is interesting to know that one topic can now spread across the world. As Twitter has become more popular, more and more people are sharing what is happening in their own world. This creates a cycle, in that it provides another way for people to discover topics that may be relevant to them. A new feature called Local Trends is being introduced which is exposing what people are talking about on a state and city level. It now has been fully launched for all users to take advantage of. The bigger events occurring around the world will become a global conversation with the intention of filtering out the different popular events.

Twitter trends are a real-time mapping of Twitter trends across the world. It is very easy to use and allows you to look at different countries, cities, states, topics, and global tweet trends. If you are a normal Twitter user, you may already be familiar with Twitter trending topics. It is the list of keywords that appears in the right hand column on the Twitter hand page. You also may already be familiar with the benefits Twitter has for your  business and marketing. However, it is only a global system that gauges the thoughts of all Twitter’ users. It is limited just to global trends. It does no know what users near you, or within your similar interests care about nor does it have a way to filter out the information you or your business would be interested in. The solution’s finally here, though. Trendsmap, a new mash-up of Twitter, Google Maps, and What the Trend maps out Twitter trends at the local level. This new services takes Twitter and trends and maps them out from a global level all the way down to a local level. This means you can see what users are talking about in London, Spain, California, Colorado, or anywhere else you are interested in.

Local Trends will allow you to learn more about the nuances in our world and discover even more relevant topics that might mater to you. It is still a work and progress, and over time it will be provided in more locations and languages.

Twitter is a great way to connect and network with others in your industry. Also, it is a good way to get instant access to what’s being said, this minute, about your organization, people, and products. It includes a steady steam of ideas, contents, links, resources, and tips. With the new feature of Twitter trends, it only helps to better suit your needs and further expand your business at a local level.

If you haven’t started yet, its time to get Tweeting and find out what people are talking about near you, or across the globe.
