Attorney Inbound Marketing: Are You Targeted?

The summer gives the ultimate gift to you every year, of up to seven extra hours of sunlight. Sure, you can continue to make excuses, and put off important to do list business; or you can stop postponing and become more effective.

Your office might be up to date with the highest technology, the new MacBook, the latest version of the iPhone, iPad or smart phone, however you might still be using old school tactics. Old school tactics such as radio and billboards might sound effective, but inbound marketing tactics are more effective. Picture you’re self-driving down the highway, do you even pay attention to the billboards on the side? Do you remember or bother to look at the number? Ever find you’re self-switching back and forth between radio stations to avoid the commercials? Theese old school tactics assume people will remember their phone numbers while going 70 miles a hour down the highway, or stay loyal to just one radio station. If you haven’t already, it is now time; out with the old and in with the new. The new tactic, inbound marketing can be tracked. This means actual results can be seen and watched. Sounds great… right?

Well, if you are still wondering what this means for you and your business, it means you are able to target directly to demographics and markets most responsive to your business. Rather than “blind shooting” by putting up a billboard or radio ad with hopes of getting lucky, now you can use a “target”, making your marketing tactics much more effective. Inbound marketing is based on the concept of earning the attention of prospects, making your self easy to find, and drawing costumers to your website by producing content customers value. Blogs, social media marketing, SEO, and other forms of content marketing can be considered inbound marketing.

Inbound marking defined in 5 phases:

1. Attract traffic

2. Convert visitors to leads

3. Convert leads to sales

4. Turn customers into repeat higher margin customers

5. Analyze for continuous improvement
