Picking up from How to Write a Compelling Attorney Profile (Part 1), the following are some additional tips on how to write an Attorney Profile that will engage potential new clients and stand out above your competitors. Because your Attorney Profile is likely one of the first pages on your website that potential new clients will read, it’s critical that you take the time to craft a profile page that accurately and effectively represents who you are as a legal professional.

  • Play up your knowledge and experience. This is, after all, why readers are potentially interested in you as a legal professional who may be representing them. • Optimize your Attorney Profile with the right keywords. While a well-written Attorney Profile can go a long way in helping a law firm secure new clients, it may be useless if search engines are not picking up the profile and potential clients do not ever read it. Effective keywords and keyword phrases will include both descriptors of your location and of your firm’s practice area(s). For example, a criminal defense lawyer in Denver will want to use the keywords “Denver criminal defense lawyer” and “Denver criminal defense attorney.”
